Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre

Alborada Spanish Dance Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit professional dance company, whose mission is the performance and preservation of Spain’s cultural arts - dances, songs and music (flamenco, folkloric, classical and 18th century court dances), poetries and dramas.

Alborada brings the "Power of Dance Theatre" and the Spanish cultural arts to more than 10,000 people annually throughout New Jersey and the Tri-State area, in full-stage theater productions, Arts-in-Education lecture demonstrations for K-12 schools, colleges, libraries and museums, free-to-the-public community performances and outreach presentations for facilities serving special needs populations.

The company performs with passion and generosity; its unique breadth of repertoire demonstrates the rich diversity of Spanish culture and its relationship to other world cultures - the Celts from Ireland, the Gypsies from India, the Sephardic Jews and more - emphasizing cultural relationships over cultural differences.
