An ‘Always Turned On’ Atlantic City is living up to its signature catchphrase with the places to go after work and after hours. The resort’s once famous seaside galas have given way to nightclubs, bars and lounges that range from the sedate to the sensual.
 
Whether you prefer your night life jazzy, revved up or star struck, there is a place to go in Atlantic City. The town is known for its casinos with many known for their dance clubs. With a ceiling that is virtually invisible due to the lighting and special effects, Trump Taj Mahal’s Casbah is truly cosmic.
 
Or, drop by Ego Bar & Lounge for a signature drink and live entertainment. Next stop is The Wave at Trump Marina. Perched on the picturesque Farley State Marina, The Wave offers panoramic views, however, the focus is on the stage showcasing hot area bands.
 
During the summer, The Deck brings you live bands every night, drink specials, delicious food and great friends, right at the water’s edge. The third Trump property, Trump Plaza, offers an alternative to dancing. The Liquid Bar is touted as the “hottest spot on the Boardwalk to see and be seen.”
 
Smack dab in the middle of the casino, Jezebel's has live entertainment, bar top video poker and big screens broadcasting all the best games. The in-season Beach Bar was recently voted one of the 21 Sexiest Beach Bars in the world by The Travel Channel.
 
Club Worship is just off the Boardwalk inside Showboat Casino’s House of Blues. The three-level nightclub offers an indulgent bar, tantalizing dance floor and exclusive, private VIP seating and bottle service. Plus, The Foundation Room is a secluded, members-only club with a fireside lounge, sacred Prayer Rooms and live entertainment.
 
The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa’s Mixx is a night club that offers high-energy excitement and infinite possibility. The second floor has private rooms for rent. With balconies that overlook the dance floor, it’s a great place to people watch and look for celebrities, too. For a more intimate setting, head to Borgata’s Gypsy Bar. It’s a popular spot so come early and stay for some live Latin music and tasty sangria.
 
There’s also the B Bar at the center of it all in the casino. Frozen coffee drinks, a large selection of vodka and plasma screens are hallmarks of this favorite resting spot. Next door, Harrah’s Resorts’ The Pool After Dark has house and guest DJ’s take “party” to the next level.
 
Reserve a poolside table where bikini clad waitresses provides first-class bottle service. One can also reserve a private cabana or a secluded hot tub. You’ll find the Xhibition Bar in the middle of the casino. Xhibition includes an impressive display of 50-inch plasma screen TVs, which broadcast sensual video and pulsating music.
 
For those who want a little entertainment with their drinks, try Eden, Harrah’s bewitching lounge that features flair bartending at The Sapphire Bar. Resorts Atlantic City’s 25 Hours celebrates the 'Art of the Cocktail.' The bar delivers a supple European vibe, wildly shaken martini classics as well as innovative centerpiece concoctions.
 
But the grooviest nightlife hotspot is Boogie Nights. Winner of the 2009 Atlantic City Nightlife Award for “Best Retro Club” and “Best Place to Bring a Date,” Boogie Nights is the ultimate 70s and 80s dance club.
 
Dusk, the evolution of nightlife, is the newest bar in Atlantic City and is located on the Boardwalk at Caesars Atlantic City. Dusk is a 10,000-square-foot, multi-layered nightclub with dance floor, state-of-the-art sound and bottle service.
 
Adjacent to Dusk is the Dawn Room, featuring an old-world style pub, DJ booth, outside area and dance floor in a more relaxed setting. The in-season beach bar, with food, cocktails and live entertainment makes Caesars the place to be. Adjacent, The Pier Shops at Caesars is a great place to whet your whistle. The Continental features unique retro elements as a sunken fire-pit lounge, populuxe bar and outdoor patio.
 
Nearby, Game On! offers more than 90 high-definition televisions broadcasting sporting events from around the world, live DJ's and a mechanical bull. Sonsie features a wine list of more than 300 wines from worlds old and new. Trinity Irish Pub & Carvery has cozy, fireside tables, two bars, live Irish music and flowing libations.
 
Next door at Bally’s Atlantic City, the Blue Martini features a chic setting with more than 100 variations of martinis, top-shelf liquor, live music and a bar with a built-in frosted ice rail. Located in the Wild Wild West section of the casino, the 90-foot-long Mountain Bar is your watering hole to cool off and play bar-top slot machines. During the summer season, set your sights on a great beach experience at Bally's Bikini Beach Bar.
 
The Atlantic City Hilton has the place to unwind at The Oaks Bar. It’s the perfect respite for specialty martinis, tantalizing appetizers and even made-to-order sushi. The Hilton Beach Bar is the ultimate summer hotspot offering live entertainment, tropical drinks, delicious summer snacks, waves of activities and more.
 
The Quarter at Tropicana features many options for the late-nighter, beginning with 32° Luxe Lounge. With its impeccable service and inviting atmosphere, it’s considered one of AC’s hottest night spots. Nearby at Cuba Libre Restaurant and Rum Bar, you can find more than just 70 different kinds of rum. Upstairs, the dance floor is always ablaze at Missile Bar with incredible house and dance music all weekend long.
 
Downstairs, easily transformed from a fine-dining atmosphere into one of AC’s most exciting night spots, Cuba Libre is the place to be for great Latin music. Over at Providence, you’ll find the kind of vibe that gets you up and dancing. Get ready to belt it out at Planet Rose and enjoy the best karaoke around.
 
Get a taste of Russia at Red Square, which features premium vodka served in a large, walk-in freezer. In addition to its fantastic food, Ri~Ra Irish Pub offers nightly entertainment, traditional Irish dancing, clogging and great music. Get a drink and catch the game at one of A Dam Good Sports Bar’s 13 plasma screen televisions.
 
Head over to The Marketplace at Tropicana to check out Firewaters. With 50 of the finest draft beers, 50 bottled beers and loads of fun, Firewaters might be your next favorite watering hole. At The Chelsea, you’ll find nightlife on the hotel’s happening Fifth Floor. The Living Room features nightly DJ’s, signature champagne cocktails and an outdoor terrace.
 
The in-season Cabana Club features live DJ's, communal seating areas, private cabanas that feature plasma screens and private stocked mini bars. C5, the inside of Cabana Club, is the Chelsea's "club within the club." C5's cocktail menu features more than 50 types of tequila and whiskey.
 
Atlantic City Outlets - The Walk is located in the heart of Atlantic City and includes hotspots like Jay Z’s 40/40 Club. The multi-level upscale sports bar and lounge features more than 30 TVs and four VIP rooms. There’s no shortage of nightlife in Atlantic City. Now the only challenge is where to start.
