Great shopping beckons in every region of the Garden State. From fancy, luxury malls to enclosed shopping centers, shopping malls are a popular shopping destination for consumers.
For openers, the state doesn't charge sales tax on clothing or shoes. Best of all, New Jersey is loaded with upscale malls, premium factory outlets plus antique and specialty shops.
For variety there's the Princeton's Market Fair with exceptional shopping or the Cherry Hill Mall with its 130 specialty shops and three major department stores.
In Haddonfield shoppers will find a gold mine of antiques and boutiques. Another long-time favorite are the fine stores at Liberty Village Premium Outlets in Flemington, America's first outlet village.
New Jersey's largest outlet mall ~ Jersey Garden in Elizabeth ~ has 200 stores under one roof. And there's the Mall at Short Hills with more than 175 quality retailers.
Truly unique shops can be found inLambertville or at the Bridgewater Commons. For a one-of-a-kind shopping and dining experience, visit the historic town of Smithville.
To find that special gift, go to the Freehold Raceway Mall or the Jackson Outlet Village, with more than 70 name-brand stores to choose from.
For a real change of pace, try the Washington Street Mall in Victorian Cape May or check out one of the many fine shops in Atlantic City.
The state’s newest shopping destination is Jersey Shore Premium Outlets an upscale center will 120 designer and name brand stores.
In Toms River there's the super regional Ocean County Mall with more than 140 retailers.
