Super Bowl Transportation: Getting Around New Jersey
With fewer than half of the usual number of parking spaces available at MetLife Stadium for Super Bowl XLVIII on February 2nd, mass transit is sure to play a crucial role on Gameday.
A great Gameday transportation option is the Fan Express Bus, which offers express service to MetLife Stadium from nine convenient pickup locations across New York City and New Jersey. The Fan Express will ensure your Gameday experience is safe, reliable and easy, leaving the driving to the professionals. Book your tickets as soon as possible at www.SBFanExpress.com to get the best seats from a location near you.
Another great Gameday transportation option is to travel by train. NJ Transit will expand railway service from New York Penn and Newark Penn Stations to Secaucus Junction, where fans can then take a short direct train to MetLife Stadium for the Game. For more information, go to www.NJTransit.com.
The third Gameday option is to reserve a parking pass via Click-And-Park, which is already almost sold out. Walking into the stadium and drop-offs from cabs or liveries will not be permitted on Gameday.
And for Super Bowl Week, there will also be several useful transportation options available to help fans get around the NY/NJ region, and to Super Bowl Boulevard in New York City.
NJ Transit will offer a special keepsake "Super Pass" for use on any of their trains, buses and light rail services for all Super Bowl Week events and Super Bowl XLVIII. The MTA has created 4 different commemorative Super Bowl XLVIII-themed Metro Cards, and the Port Authority of NY & NJ will also release special PATH Smart Cards, on sale at PATH stations across the area.
