The Camden Waterfront

For great family entertainment, check out the Camden Waterfront for historic attractions, aquarium fun and much more.

The Camden Waterfront has a range of attractions that will interest the entire family.

For openers, there's the Battleship New Jersey, America's most decorated battleship, which is permanently berthed on the Delaware River at the Camden Waterfront. At nearly 900 feet long and 11 stories high, the battleship is an impressive addition to the waterfront. The Battleship New Jersey arrived at the Camden Waterfront in July 2000 to undergo restoration and conversion into a museum. The ship opened to the public in October 2001 at its memorial pier near Adventure Aquarium. Adventure Aquarium is a wonderful interactive family fun experience.

The latest addition is the Stringray Beach Club that allows visitors to actually touch and hand feed an array of stingrays. The Stingray Beach Club is a tropical beach paradise where it's always warm and sunny, and even though you're inside, it feels bright and airy like you've been transported to a tropical island oasis. Fluffy clouds, palm trees and waterfalls surround guests as they are invited to dip their hands into the warm waters to touch and hand-feed an array of beautiful stingrays. A few lucky guests will even get the chance to wade-in with the gentle creatures of Stingray Beach Club for an up-close stingray experiences.

In addition to the battleship and aquarium, the Camden Waterfront also has the Camden Children's Garden, and there's the BB&T Pavilion, which is a year-round amphitheater that offers major concerts by top-name entertainers, Broadway productions and other family events.
