Holiday Shopping - Jersey Made

Shop local when you do your holiday shopping in New Jersey.

The holiday season in New Jersey is the best time of year. With the holidays quickly approaching, there is nothing like a weekend filled with festive shopping to put you in the spirit. New Jersey is home to some of the best locally made holiday products and festive events that will have you coming back year after year.

Support local, small businesses and mark your calendars for the annual Small Business Saturday, which takes place the day after Black Friday. The day promotes the local, independent shops of New Jersey, which sell unique, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts. Check out the local, special deals and discounts in Historic Mullica Hill, or discover one of the many small towns in New Jersey to browse local shops.

Local farms throughout the state are a great place to shop for festive foods and products this holiday season. Johnson’s Corner Farm in Medford offers a variety of holiday activities, including the opportunity to pick-your-own popcorn, sweet potatoes, broccoli and cauliflower, as well as enjoy sleigh rides and reindeer exhibits through the end of December. The onsite farmer’s market is transformed into a holiday wonderland selling cookies, Christmas trees, wreaths, and unique gifts.

The Holiday Tree Farm in Augusta is a great place to find and cut your own Christmas tree. After you’ve found your tree, head inside the farmhouse for refreshments while browsing the display of ornaments, wreaths, and roping for sale. Choose from over 5,000 cut your own trees at Wyckoff’s Christmas Tree Farm in Belvidere, or just spend the afternoon browsing the Christmas Country Gift Shop for one of a kind gift items including ornaments, rugs, primitive style gifts and other decorations.

In early December, the Hoboken Holiday Craft Fair in Hoboken and the Crafts at Christmas event in Cape May are great for finding those unique, Jersey-made holiday gifts, from body products and jewelry to photography and artwork. A true Christmas village atmosphere can be found at the annual Tuckerton Christkindlmarket, also in early December. In addition to the crafts for sale, you will find entertainment, horse drawn carriage rides, wine tasting, and lots of food. You can be sure to find something for everyone in your family that’s locally made!
