New Jersey is home to major league hockey, soccer and football.
The New Jersey Devils are often one of the best teams in the National Hockey League. With multiple championships, the fans are loyal and intense. The regular season runs from October to April with the playoffs in the latter part of April. The Devils home games are at the Prudential Center in Newark. Get as close to the ice as you can, if you go, to experience hockey the way it was meant to be watched.
The New York Red Bulls play professional soccer at Red Bull Arena in Harrison, New Jersey. The Major League Soccer season runs March to October. The modern stadium is an ideal soccer arena built from the ground up for soccer. Fans from around the region come in to see some of the best soccer America has to offer played at one of the best stadium's for the sport anywhere.
Both the New York Jets and the New York Giants play at MetLife Stadium in the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Pre-season starts in August each year and the regular season runs from September to December with the playoffs going into January. If you haven't experienced a National Football League game in the tri-state area, you don't know what you are missing. The energy and excitement is beyond compare.

The New Jersey Jackals play at Yogi Berra Stadium in Little Falls – on the campus of Montclair State University. Before heading to a game, plan to spend some time at the nearby Yogi Berra Museum & Learning Center, where baseball fans can get a behind-the-scenes look at baseball and the fascinating life of this extraordinary player.

The Sussex County Miners play at Skyland Stadium as a young team with high hopes. Give this relatively new team a warm welcome to Augusta, New Jersey while wearing the team colors, black and bright gold. You can make it a family-fun weekend by camping out at nearby Swartswood State Park and enjoy swimming or hiking on one of the great trails.
Trenton Thunder (AA)
Playing in the Eastern Division of the Eastern League, the Trenton Thunder is an American Minor League Baseball team and the Double-A Affiliates of the New York Yankees. Come cheer them on at Arm & Hammer Park in Trenton. Fans attending Friday night games also can enjoy a post-game fireworks show to keep the festivities going.
