Long Branch

Long a popular spot for surf and fun under the sun, Long Branch also boasts home-away-from-home beachside condos, premier shops and restaurants at Pier Village, which has created a buzz all along the northern shore.

Although it’s one of the ritziest spots in coastal New Jersey, with Avenue – encompassing an upscale restaurant, beach club and beach bar, there’s plenty to do even if you don’t have deep pockets. During the summer, there are free festivals, farmer’s markets and concerts, plus year-round historic sites, parks, shops and restaurants that offer something for every interest. Long Branch is also home to the New Jersey Repertory Company for theater lovers.

Another special spot is Seven Presidents Oceanfront Park, named for the U.S. presidents who vacationed here. The park comprises 38 acres and offers an ocean beach, swimming, surfing, fishing, boating and volleyball – even a skatepark.
