Red Bank

Red Bank is the Garden State’s own Greenwich Village, filled with trendy stores, funky coffee shops, a vibrant arts scene and eclectic cuisine.

On the Navesink River and just five miles from the Atlantic Ocean, it’s a logical stop on the way to Jersey beaches, but this town is ideally a destination onto itself.

Music and arts are hallmarks of Red Bank. The Count Basie Theater (99 Monmouth St.) presents live music acts and the Two River Theater Company (21 Bridge Ave.) is the spot for new and original plays.

Shopping is centered on Red Bank’s main thoroughfare, Broad Street and its arteries.

Try the coffee and sandwiches at No Joe’s Café (52 Broad St.). You’ll find a big draw on W. Front St. – some of town’s 250 antique stores.
