• Overview

The Lawrence Hopewell Trail (LHT) is a 20-mile trail that will soon be a completed loop connecting communities, parks and businesses in a scenic part of Mercer County. Much of it is paved, although some is crushed stone or a rougher surface.

Walk, run or bike some or all of it. Spot the eagles nest, discover the former AT&T Pole Farm, get a quick history lesson from the many historical markers, stop for a bite to eat -- there is so much to see and do on this family-friendly trail, located roughly 45 miles from Philadelphia and 60 miles from New York City.

    ACTIVITIES
-Walking. A walk, even a short one, has many benefits. Everyone can enjoy a walk.
-Running. Speed up the pace. Runners can get the same benefits and see more of the trail.
