New Jersey State House

Overview
Jersey government since 1792. While the front portion of the building is closed for renovations, tours begin in the impressive State House Annex and proceed to the magnificent legislative chambers. Visitors learn about the building's rich past, art and architecture, the lawmaking process, and how to participate in shaping public policy.
Free, one-hour guided tours are offered hourly, Monday - Friday, 10 am - 3 pm; and the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month, Noon - 3 pm. Closed Sundays and state holidays. Please call for reservations and to confirm tour offerings.
