Point Pleasant Beach
The Point Pleasant Boardwalk offers an overload of must-see attractions along its one-mile. The north end of the Boardwalk is home to Jenkinson’s Aquarium, featuring everything from sharks and alligators to seals and penguins. Families also will love playing a game of miniature golf, exploring the Fun House, going on the 7D Dark Ride or listening to legendary Frank Sinatra tunes at Sinatra House.
Seaside Heights
Seaside Heights is a hotbed of entertainment and attractions, and the Casino Pier & Breakwater Beach Waterpark is just the start of the action happening along the one-mile boardwalk. The Casino Pier also has an amusement park with state-of-the-art rides, classic boardwalk amusement rides and children’s rides.
Atlantic City
Perhaps the most well-known boardwalk of them all, this historic destination was the world’s first boardwalk, built in 1870. Today, the boardwalk still draws in beachgoing visitors seeking entertainment, shopping, dining and a little fresh air. While you're here, don't miss the historic Steel Pier, built in 1898.
Extending 1,000 feet over the Atlantic Ocean, the Pier has more than 25 kid-friendly and “extreme” rides, as well as an amusement arcade. Another exciting attraction along the Atlantic City boardwalk is Ripley’s Believe or Not! Museum, where visitors can marvel at everything from the world’s smallest production car to real shrunken heads.
Ocean City
It's no wonder that Ocean City has been dubbed the #1 family beach community in the country. With its family-friendly amusements, live music performances and an alcohol-free atmosphere, this is an ideal beachfront spot to take the kids.
Don't miss the OC Waterpark, which has more than 35 family-friendly rides, water slides and miniature golf. During July and August, every Thursday is “Family Night” on the boardwalk, meaning you can enjoy free live entertainment and activities.
Wildwood
If rides and amusement parks are on your agenda, Wildwood Boardwalk is the place to be. Head straight to one of the many destinations at Morey's Piers & Beachfront Waterparks, where you can take a turn on the nostalgic carnival rides, get an adrenaline rush on one of the extreme roller coasters, try your hand at a variety of entertaining games and get wet and wild at one of the water parks. There's more than 100 rides to try! To explore the entire boardwalk with ease, take the Sightseer Tram Car to go from one end of the boardwalk to the other.
