Visit South Jersey Director of Operations Mike Snyder appeared for a LIVE televised interview during the program about the Pine Barrens, which make up 1.1 million total acres and is the first national reserve in the United States. Snyder told show viewers about the many great adventures visitors to the Pine Barrens can experience, such as canoeing, kayaking, hiking and camping, as well as destinations within the region like Batso Village. The Pine Barrens, located an hour and a half from New York City and 45 minutes from Philadelphia, is a unique biological area of New Jersey and is bigger than Yosemite and the Grand Canyon.
