Overview
Located near Exchange Place on the Jersey City Waterfront Walkway, this memorial consists of three pieces of World Trade Center steel and a black granite slab inscribed with a commemorative message and the names of 37 Jersey City residents who perished in the attacks. The memorial also includes the sculpture “Makeshift Memorial” by artist J. Seward Johnson. The lower Manhattan skyline serves as the background to this memorial.
