Overview
Our zoo is a major attraction to the thousands of visitors of the shore and residents alike. Families who visit our zoo are always impressed with more than 85 acres of lush country gardens, leisurely atmosphere and the extensive natural environment to explore. Animal lovers are impressed by our collection of more than 550 animals, representing more than 250 species. Visit the Bald Eagle Habitat or watch our growing Ring tail Lemur family at play. And there is more to see! The Cape May County Zoo is open 364 days a year (closed Christmas). Summer hours: 10 am - 4:45 pm. Beginning March 9 winter hours: 10 am to 3:45 pm. The zoo is FREE of charge, but donations are GREATLY appreciated! Cape May County Zoo Society, the non-profit community partner of county government in the continuing improvement of the Cape May County Zoo for our visitors, staff, and most of all, the living creatures in our care.
