Museums don’t entomb the past they keep the past alive!
We will be doing the Hindenburg talk on the 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month the Lakehurst Historical Society Museum will present an informational talk about the crash on May 6, 1937 of the Hindenburg Air Ship with artifacts and pictures available for viewing. Our Museum is open every Wednesday and Sunday 12:30 - 3 pm. If you wish to get almost the same experience as you would get at the Navy Lakehurst Base, without all the problems of trying to get through the military gate, then come visit us! We will also present this same informational talk at your Woman’s Club, Men’s Club, Veteran’s Club, Girl and Boy Scouts Clubs and other meetings as well upon request. We will come to you. The talk is approx. 30 to 40 minutes long.
