Overview
Join in the largest and longest-running LGBTQ Pride event in New Jersey at Jersey Pride Celebration in Asbury Park on June 2, 2024. From 12-7 p.m., rain or shine, participants can enjoy a parade, outdoor concerts and a festival that includes a family zone with rides. And don’t miss the food vendors, booths with gay organizations and businesses as well as New Jersey’s biggest outdoor display of the Names Project’s AIDS Memorial Quilt. It’s pure Pride down the shore!
THE PARADE
The parade kicks off at 12 p.m., passing through the center of Asbury Park to the shore. It has grown throughout the years and today features floats, decorated vehicles, marching bands and enthusiastic marchers, all cheered on by spectators that line the parade route.
THE RALLY
Against a backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean and New Jersey’s famous boardwalk, national headliners and local artists share the rally stage for a six-hour outdoor concert.
THE FESTIVAL
The Family- and Pet-Friendly Pride Festival provides an opportunity for community groups and businesses to distribute a wide variety of information, including job opportunities, housing options, family issues, disease prevention and screening, sources of support for victims of violence and abuse, legal rights and services and the availability of support for issues that the queer community faces.
ADMISSION
Admission of $10 gives you access to the Festival and Rally grounds, food court, family zone and all entertainment. You will be able to pay your entrance fee via cash (exact amounts appreciated) or credit card. Jersey Pride, Inc. will be accepting credit card payments via STRIPE. STRIPE is a fast, easy, secure platform that will accept your credit card payment using your cell phone. You will be able to access STRIPE by scanning a QR code that will be posted at the entrance to the festival grounds.
PARKING
Paid (metered) parking is available throughout Asbury Park. Be sure to read the signs as some non-metered spaces may require a residential permit. Metered spaces may be paid for using the AsburyParking app or ParkMobile. Other payments methods may be available – check the meters or signage where you park. Meters are in effect every day, including Sundays.
