Legends of Lore hosts its annual Renaissance Faire every fall. The Faire will take you back in time to the 16th century where nobility, chivalry and romance abound. Enter the world where Knights in full combat armor joust on their "War Horses".
See World Champion Sir Shanton and The Knights of Valour joust in full combat armour on their War Horses. Watch Arial Inferno defy gravity and astound with their grace, performing as only aerialists know how! Witness Needlez the Dragonborn breath columns of flame and bend fire to his very whim! Enjoy variety acts like Pokie-Poke The Jongleur astound you with his wit and talents! Enjoy dancers, musical acts and even magic! See Knights in hand to hand combat, archers using the English longbow, magicians, fire eaters, belly dancers and many others.
Stroll the village with merchants displaying plenty of merchandise of yesteryear. Feast on roasted turkey legs, dragon dogs, fish & chips, curly fries, BBQ ribs & chicken, kettle corn, corn on the cob, cuban foods, funnel cakes and other specialty delights.
Though the faire has been around for over 40 years, there has been a change in ownership, and the crew is delighted to be presenting this faire and looking forward to many more bright years ahead! Huzzah!
Saturday come in costume join the fun for Time Travelers Day – cash prizes for the winners. Sunday, see The Crowning of the King and Queen chosen from children 10 and under, dressed in period garb prizes for all.
