It is now the season for love, weddings, and renewals!
To honor these springtime traits, Monmouth County Library’s Eastern Branch in Shrewsbury is hosting a Wedding Dress Collection, curated by the Shrewsbury Historical Society. The Exhibit includes ten vintage wedding dresses that represent bridal gown fashions throughout the decades, and will be on display through June 30.
Additionally, the Shrewsbury Historical Society is giving in-person tours – called “Dress Talks” – on select days. These curated tours dive further into the history behind each gown, the restoration process, and the brides who wore them. Visit the Monmouth County Library website to register for the Dress Talk of your choice.
