For more than 36 years, Poricy Park Conservancy has been preserving open space, wildlife and their habitats, Upper-Cretaceous fossil beds, and the New Jersey State historic Murray Farmhouse site circa 1770. Poricy Park is an exceptional ecological resource and one of the largest independent parks in Monmouth. Poricy Park is a regional resource, serving residents throughout New Jersey and the Tri-state area. The park is a center for environmental and cultural education, enhancing the community's enjoyment and appreciation of nature and local history.
