Overview
Walking Bird Farm, a small family farm owned and operated by Art Brown, former NJ Secretary of Agriculture, and wife Carolyn, is 20 acres of preserved farmland. From mid-June through July, come pick-your-own blueberries.
African and ethnic crops are available from July to November, which includes pick-your-own: hot pepper, bitterball, kittley, sweet potato leaves, jute leaves, spinach (malabar), okra and more. As part of our CSA program, members have access to additional pick-your-own crops, including fresh cut flowers, cherry tomatoes, peas, green beans and herbs.
