    This historic mansion that dates back to the 1600s was once the residence of Royal Governor Jonathan Belcher, who lived there from 1751 to 1757. It was the site of many gatherings of prominent pioneers, including George Whitefield and Jonathan Edwards. Dubbed "the cradle of Princeton University," it also served as the residence of William Peartree Smith and Governor Aaron Ogden.
