Old York Cellars has always been a New York City and Philadelphia area favorite for its close proximity between the two cities, its panoramic views and stellar wines. The winery has also carved out a niche in recent years for its strong culinary menu beginning at their Quaker Bridge Mall Tasting Room and Kitchen in Lawrenceville, New Jersey and now expanded to their Winery in Ringoes. While tasting experiences can include cheese, charcuterie, and chocolate, special food pairing experiences that can include tapas and a special curated selection of wines with a six-course food menu highlighting the Chef’s delicious, old world style Spanish Cuisine.
Wine tasting experiences take place in assigned socially distanced seating areas that are all at least six feet or more from other groups. Contactless tasting is the new normal at Old York Cellars where almost everything is hands-off, even reservations, ordering and payments are conveniently made through a cellphone. The winery serves the wine in disposable wine cups and delivers the wine tasting flights, wine bottles and food orders directly to the guest’s seating area. Guests can enjoy a self-guided tasting in a postcard perfect setting. At a Winery, sitting outside is definitely a bonus since the setting is spectacular.
