    The Ocean City Arts Center's mission is to engage the individuals and communities of Southern New Jersey in the kind of participation in visual and performing arts that leads to individual and collective fulfillment. It is geared toward exposing, generating and making art accessible to individuals of all ages, ethnicities and abilities. The Ocean City Arts Center Gallery changes exhibits each month of the year, creating an opportunity to meet the artist or artists represented. Receptions are free, open to the public. Gallery, shop and classes offered. The Arts Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Arts Center offers various programs and services covering multi-disciplinary art classes and workshops. The Arts Center offers year-round classes and workshops for adults and youth in visual arts, pottery, dance and instrumental music. Summer Art Camp An eight-week art camp attracting upward to 430 youth. Youth are comprised of locals, summer residents and vacationers with 30% of families who repeat annually. Visual Art Exhibits Monthly gallery exhibits featuring solo and group show plus two juried shows featuring local and regional artists. In its 63rd year, the juried Boardwalk Art Show draws approximately 70 artists, some with show over 10 years, from NJ and surrounding states. Performing Arts Series consist of live music, storytelling, poetry and theater. Community Art Projects are outreach projects initiated by the Arts Center with outside organizations and communities.
