Welcome to New Jersey’s Delaware River Region, where strolling main streets of days gone by and hiking winding trails in secluded forests make you feel like you’re in another time.

The Delaware River Region is a boater’s delight. Rent a canoe or kayak from any number of vendors or drop into a tube for a lazy float down the river. For an overnight experience, pitch a tent under the stars in Parvin State Park in Pittsgrove. More into glamping?  The park has 18 furnished cabins complete with running water and electricity.

Add some fishy fun to your visit with a stop in Adventure Aquarium. Or relax and sip varietals at award-winning wineries can throughout the region, including Coda Rossa Winery in Franklinville, which produces a full-bodied Meritage and an assortment of other wines. Beer drinkers also have options here, with breweries like Berlin Brewing Company offering microbrews made in-house.

Major annual events in this area include the Fire & Ice Festival, held in late January in Mount Holly and the Cranberry Festival, held in early October in Bordentown.
