Overview
Shippen Manor is a restored 18th century iron master's mansion associated with historic Oxford Furnace (1741-1884). Visitors can also visit our historic furnace, which is across the street on Washington Ave & Cinder Street.
Guided tours are scheduled on the first and second Sundays from May to December, excluding Holidays. In addition to museum programming, our Summer Lawn Concert Series are on Sundays from Father's Day to Labor Day and are free to the public.
Visit our website and Facebook to see our programming schedule, including hours we are open. We are reasonably accommodating and parking on-site is limited. On-street parking in town (Washington Avenue) is accessible and within walking distance.
Free Admission, however, donations to the Friends of Shippen are welcomed. This is a family-friendly site.
