Pride Month Events in New Jersey

Grab your rainbow flag, mark your calendar and get to New Jersey to celebrate Pride Month with festivals and parades hosted by welcoming towns and LGBTQ organizations up and down the state. We’re sharing all of the need-to-know dates and details below.

Rutherford's 3rd Annual Pridefest, The Power of Pride | Rutherford: Co-presented by Rutherford Pride Alliance and Rutherford Arts Council, this event will be held in Lincoln Park. Family-friendly, inclusive festivities will include food vendors, a beer garden, live performances, raffles and kid-tastic fun like face painting, bouncy houses and more. Rain date: Sunday, June 2, 2024.

2nd Annual Pride Fest in the Park | Highlands: The Highlands Business Partnership brings another full day of fun and pride with live music, food trucks, specialty vendors and a beer garden in Huddy Park. Rain date: Tuesday, June 11, 2024.

32nd Annual Jersey Pride Celebration | Asbury Park: Join in the largest and longest-running LGBTQ Pride event in the state. From Noon to 7PM, rain or shine, participants can enjoy a parade, outdoor concerts and a festival that includes a family zone with rides. And don’t miss the food vendors, booths with gay organizations and businesses as well as New Jersey’s biggest outdoor display of the Names Project’s AIDS Memorial Quilt. It’s pure Pride down the shore!

4th Annual HT Pride | Haddon Township: Festivities so grand, they can’t be contained by a single day. The celebration kicks off with a parade on June 6 immediately followed by an after party. Then stick around for Progress Community Night on June 7 – an opportunity to honor achievements of LGBTQ pioneers and support LGBTQ and allied vendors as well as enjoy games and the crowd-favorite Drag Queen Lip Sync Battles. Rain date for parade: Saturday, June 8, 2024.

Montclair Pride | Montclair: Ranked among the top suburban Pride events in the nation, this three-stage celebration of the LGBTQ community includes a full day of performances by local talent, Broadway legends, celebrities, noted speakers and more. Plus food and drink, crafts for sale and service organizations.

Pride in the Park | Red Bank: Gather together in Riverside Gardens Park for an afternoon of live music, fun swag, plenty of vendors and more. Rain date: Sunday, June 9, 2024.

North Jersey Pride Festival | Maplewood: Round up the family for this fun-for-all-ages celebration. A main stage will feature live performances while hourly shows will delight crowds in the Rainbow Kids Zone. Hit the food court when you’re hungry and check out more than 100 merchants in the vendor court.

Boonton Rainbow Pride | Boonton: From the raising of the Pride flag to DJs spinning tunes for dancing to lawn games to the Community Rainbow Art Installation, these festivities will have everyone feeling the love. Join in the fun all afternoon at Grace Lord Park. Rain location: Boonton Elks Lodge.

6th Annual Toms River Pride | Toms River: It’s a full day of celebration on Washington Street – including food, festivities, vendors and performances. For accessibility, ASL interpreters will be present at all mainstage performances.

Morris County Pride Festival | Randolph: Inclusivity and visibility are celebrated on the College of Morris County campus. Attend live performances. Shop diverse vendors. And fest from afternoon to evening.

Princeton Pride Parade & After-Party | Princeton: Hosted by the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice, this year’s theme is “A Celebration of Queer Joy” and all are welcome to join in honoring how far we’ve come while recognizing what still needs to be accomplished.
