Overview
Located within Alliger Park in Hopewell Township, this memorial features a piece of World Trade Center steel held up by two columns, each molded in the shape of arms and hands. It is surrounded by a walkway, known as the Walk of Heroes, made of bricks engraved with the names of deceased local emergency responders. While the World Trade Center steel honors the victims of the World Trade Center site, the memorial also features two plaques dedicated to the victims of hijacked Flight 93 and at the Pentagon.
