The Gloucester County Certified Gardeners are proud to present the Certified Gardener Spring Expo and Plant Sale, a community event celebrating the start of the gardening season. This annual event invites gardeners of all experience levels—from beginners planting their first vegetables to experienced growers looking for unique plants—to spend a day learning, exploring, and preparing for a successful growing season.

Held in the beautiful setting of Scotland Run Park, the event offers visitors an opportunity to purchase a wide variety of high-quality plants, receive expert gardening advice, and learn more about creating healthy and productive gardens at home.

 Plant Sale Highlights
The plant sale will feature an impressive selection grown and selected by Certified Gardeners, including:

• Over 40 varieties of heirloom tomatoes, offering a range of colors, shapes, and flavors 
• A large assortment of vegetable plants ready for spring planting
• Popular culinary herbs for home kitchens and herb gardens
• Native perennials that thrive in the local environment
• Butterfly and pollinator-friendly plants that support bees, butterflies, and other beneficial insects 

These plants are carefully selected to grow well in the region and to help gardeners create beautiful, productive outdoor spaces.

 Free Soil Testing
Healthy soil is the foundation of a thriving garden. Visitors are encouraged to bring a small soil sample from their yard and take advantage of free pH soil testing provided by the Certified Gardeners. The results will help gardeners better understand their soil and receive guidance on how to improve growing conditions.

 Gardening Advice and Education
Throughout the event, visitors can stop by the Certified Gardeners booth to speak with experienced volunteers who are available to:

• Answer gardening questions
• Provide planting and care tips
• Offer guidance on soil health and fertilization
• Suggest plants that grow well in the local area
• Share ideas for pollinator gardens, vegetable gardens, and sustainable gardening practices
