• Overview

Looking for something new and cool to do? Liberty Science Center has 12 exhibition halls awaiting exploration. Visit weird naked mole rats, tiny cotton-top monkeys, a school of piranhas, massive fish, and 100s of other intriguing animals.

Looking for adventure? Challenge a 35-foot high climbing gym and navigate a pitch-black, 80-foot-long, crawl-through maze. Then take an eye-popping cosmic joyride through the universe sitting under an 89-foot dome screen in the biggest planetarium outside of Asia.

In summer months, don't miss Jack Horner's Dino Dig where young paleontologists can dig up huge fossil casts in 40 tons of sand.

LSC has a full cafe, a nursing room for moms, free live science shows, an exceptional gift shop and much more. There's so much to do that most people stay 3-4 hours. Get there on the NJ Turnpike (Exit 14C) or ride the Hudson-Bergen Light Rail to the Liberty State Park Station.
