Overview
Built in 1962, Westwood Golf Club is a long-time favorite of visiting and local golfers because of its excellent year-round condition and friendly personnel and was chosen by the readers of Golf Digest as one of their favorite places to play in 1996-2009.
Westwood is well maintained and is a very scenic course. The front nine is flat, and the back nine is hilly. The fairways are narrow and the greens are large. Nine hole rates only apply after 4 pm.
Greens are bent grass and our fairways are winter rye grass. Water hazards in play. Greens are aerated in April and Sept. and fairways are overseeded in the fall. Tees are overseeded periodically throughout the growing season.
Twenty sand bunkers in play, 18 holes, clubhouse, restaurant, snack bar, pro shop.
