Overview
The 1779-80 winter encampment site of the 12,000 plus members of the Continental Army. The site features replica huts used by American soldiers during the Revolutionary War. This 1,200-acre area of the Morristown National Historic Park includes a three mile tour road, 25 miles of hiking trails, a visitor center, 18th century farm house and several reconstructed soldier huts. Tours, special events and re-enactments are scheduled often. Standard hours are 10 to 5. Changes possible based on the season.
