The home of American poet Walt Whitman contains an extensive collection of writings, photographs and memorabilia. National Historic Landmark.
Visits to the Whitman House are by guided tour only. As tours are limited in size, it is always advisable to speak to a staff member before visiting to confirm hours and tour availability. Open: Wednesday - Saturday, 10 am - 12 Noon and 1 - 4 pm; Sunday, 1 - 4 pm.
