"Summertime and the drinking’s easy” The Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival’s 'Summer Sessions,' returning to the historic Bader Field on Saturday, July 13.
Nestled within the grounds of the former Atlantic City International Airport, this unique venue, which saw the inaugural outdoor #ACBEERFEST in June 2021, sets the stage for a day of craft beer, seltzer and beverage exploration accompanied by sensational beats.
Craft beverage aficionados from across the nation, alongside thousands of festival-goers, will converge for a day filled with discovery. With two sessions to choose from, attendees can immerse themselves in a world of over 400 beers, seltzers and other craft beverages curated by 90+ of the globe's premier producers and innovators. From local legends to exotic favorites, these beverage artisans will showcase their diverse portfolios of styles and flavors, inviting enthusiasts of all levels to connect with the humans behind the taste.
An opportunity for sipping discovery would not be complete without the proper drinking soundtrack.
Session one Saturday, July 13 from 12 - 4 p.m. the festival leans into those summer vibes featuring Southern California Reggae rock royalty Fortunate Youth, straight out of Malibu and the king of Summer Shwazye, and kicking off the sesh from Honolulu The Wide Eyed Kids.
Session two, Saturday, July 13, from 6 - 10 p.m., the festival jumps back to its punk rock roots featuring Philadelphia punk scene legends the Menzingers, the frisky Philly Four punk/ska CatBite, and kicking it off fat records punk rock outlaws Bad Cop Bap Cop.
If beer, bubbles, booze and bands weren’t enough. Brace yourselves for a shenanigan overload at the festival with an array of additional awesomeness! Beyond the mainstage beats and beverage exploration, prepare to expand your taste buds with local grub and snack vendors.
But hold onto your tiny beer mugs because this event is all about cranking the fun meter to the max with some serious "off the wall" activities. Test your taste buds in a hot wing eating contest, lose yourself in the beats at the Silent Disco, maybe get into a water balloon fight or challenge your friends to a horse race, toss a keg, then go fly a kite! There's a whole lineup of unexpected antics waiting for you!
